During our recent family trip to Western Scotland, we stayed at Bridge View in Annan for a night, and it certainly met our needs. the apartment is ideally located by the river, which made for peaceful walks and easy access to local bars and restaurants. Once inside, we found it to be quiet and well-appointed. Our kids appreciated the modern amenities, especially the hairdryer, which is a rarity in many places we've stayed. the shower was reliable, and having conditioner included was a thoughtful touch, often overlooked elsewhere. the hosts were attentive, even offering to drive us to our event, which was a life-saver in avoiding taxi hassles. We also enjoyed proximity to Allandale Distillery, a short drive away, which meant a fun outing for the adults while the kids relaxed at the apartment. And yes, we appreciated the Blue Bell Inn just across the street for a family meal. Bridge View gave us a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Solway coast and Dumfries and Galloway. We would recommend it for families looking for a clean, functional place to unwind after a day of adventures.
